The most classic and easy pasta dish I love that’s simple, healthy, fulfilling, and full of tremendous flavors. To top it all, it takes a whopping 20 minutes and you dive right in!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound fettuccine
  • 1 pound shrimp (your size preference), peeled and deveined
  • Sea Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, sliced into cubes
  • 5 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of chopped parsley leaves

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot, add pasta, and cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Add salt and ground pepper to shrimp; set aside
  3. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes, and cook, stirring until fragrant (approx. 1-2 minutes).
  4. Add shrimp and cook, stirring occasionally, until pink (approx. 2-3 minutes), and set aside.
  5. Melt remaining butter in skillet. Stir in pasta and Parmesan (approx. 2 minutes). Stir in shrimp.
  6. Serve immediately, garnish with parsley.
