The most classic and easy pasta dish I love that’s simple, healthy, fulfilling, and full of tremendous flavors. To top it all, it takes a whopping 20 minutes and you dive right in!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound fettuccine
- 1 pound shrimp (your size preference), peeled and deveined
- Sea Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, sliced into cubes
- 5 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan
- 1 ½ tablespoons of chopped parsley leaves
DIRECTIONS:
- Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot, add pasta, and cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Add salt and ground pepper to shrimp; set aside
- Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes, and cook, stirring until fragrant (approx. 1-2 minutes).
- Add shrimp and cook, stirring occasionally, until pink (approx. 2-3 minutes), and set aside.
- Melt remaining butter in skillet. Stir in pasta and Parmesan (approx. 2 minutes). Stir in shrimp.
- Serve immediately, garnish with parsley.
